Choose the right customer journey for appointments, cleaning quotes and building projects without adding unnecessary complexity.
Start with what you can actually confirm
If you know the service length, available staff and appointment rules, online booking may be a good fit. If price or availability depends on assessing a property or discussing a project, an enquiry form gives you room to review the request first. The right choice follows your working process.
When an enquiry form works better
A builder may need drawings or a site visit before agreeing a job. A cleaner may need the property size, condition and service requirements before quoting. Keep the first form focused: contact details, the service required and a short description are often enough to start a conversation. Collect more detail when it becomes necessary.
When customers can choose an appointment
For predictable services, customers can choose from available appointments. Before building, agree duration, preparation time, staff availability, cancellation rules and how confirmations will work. A request should not be described as a confirmed booking unless the system has actually reserved it.
You can offer both routes
A salon might accept bookings for standard appointments while asking new colour clients to request a consultation. A service business could offer scheduled visits for existing clients and a quote form for new projects. Clear labels help customers understand what happens next.
Already using a booking platform?
You may only need a clear link from the website. An embed or API integration can offer a closer connection, but depends on what your provider supports. Share the platform and the steps you want to improve. We will agree any integration work or third-party charges before proceeding.
