Your information
Privacy.
This notice covers The Gerry Method’s public website and email enquiries. Updated 5 October 2026.
Who we are
Alisha Gerry runs The Gerry Method and is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact alisha@thegerrymethod.co.uk with questions or requests.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever name, business details and message you choose to send. We use this to respond, discuss your requirements and take steps towards a project at your request. For general business enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding and running our business. You do not have to provide information, but we may be unable to respond without contact details.
Your project brief
The brief builder runs in your browser. It does not submit your answers to our website server or save them in browser storage. You can copy the brief or open it in your email app; it is sent only when you send that email.
Hosting and email
Railway hosts this website. Google Workspace provides our business email. These providers process information needed to deliver their services; hosting may involve technical request information such as IP addresses and browser details. Alisha handles your enquiries. We do not sell your information.
Provider infrastructure may process information outside the UK. The relevant provider’s data-processing terms describe their safeguards and international-transfer arrangements: Railway and Google Workspace.
Cookies and payments
We count page requests and contact-link clicks in aggregate to understand how the website is used. We do not create visitor profiles or use analytics cookies. Short-lived, hashed request identifiers are used for abuse prevention. The private owner area uses an essential session cookie for sign-in. We do not accept online payments. External sites, including Instagram, have their own privacy notices.
Keeping information
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, follow up an active discussion, or manage an agreed project. Where a record is needed for a legal obligation or dispute, that need also determines retention. Email correspondence is not subject to an automatic website deletion timer. Contact us to ask about, or request deletion of, your information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We do not make automated decisions about you. Contact the email above to exercise your rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
